Apple store employees at locations in Atlanta and New York are mobilizing to form unions as the tight labor market is shifting power to rank-and-file employees

After union victories by workers at some of America’s most prominent companies, Apple Inc. retail employees are mobilizing in hopes of their own organizing success.

Although U.S. union membership has continued to decline in recent years, workers at several companies , including at Amazon . com Inc., Starbucks Corp. , Verizon Communications Inc. and outdoor retail chain Recreational Equipment Inc.

Unions are the best! They will fight for the people not companies. Companies are too greedy and selfish.

This is great. Employers need to realize that they need us we don’t need them. Tim Cook is not going to stock the shelves or deal with aggregated customers, he’s a billionaire. So it only makes sense that employees should consolidate their power.
