Says someone fond of technical monopolies.

“We have to admit when a product is insanely over-priced.”

Well, maybe it's not working because the socalled free market isn't actually free.

Perhaps that's because the 'free market' doesn't exist. It's an economic model that applies simplifying assumptions to our very complex world - the social science equivalent of a test tube. Real life markets can be warped and manipulated - that's why we have billionaires.

You know I was thinking about getting the new Apple iPhone for my upgrade but after reading this & considering all the manipulations they are doing to their iOS to shorten battery life, I have changed my mind. Looks like I'm going with the Samsung Note 10, whenever it comes out.

It's not a 'free market' when there's already so much government regulation. We are simply in a space that's the worst of both worlds, where bad government regulations have enhanced the worst parts of capitalism.

🧐🤔

Pots and Kettles Tim. You're brand is a clear example of the free market not working.

I don't remember Microsoft complaining when they had an effective monopoly for their operating syatem in the PC market.

I'm pretty sure this is exactly how the free market is supposed to work.

Apple is even more pro-censorship than Facebook and Google/Youtube.

Nice piece of sophistry. But it won't play.

Does Tim Cook know he's free to not run that TRILLION dollar company?

Says the guy having no problem charging (and selling) $900+ phones.

Cool, apple is going to start paying taxes

coincidentally when sales start declining?
