Last week, Finland and Sweden moved to join Nato. The two Nordic countries are joining the alliance for one reason and one reason only: doing so will make them safer. It is my strongly held view that following them into the alliance would be the most effective way to protect this country in the months, years and decades ahead.

Safety from who from what? Why is the whole world in a hurry to militarise Since the foundation of the state we have never been attacked m, never even looked like being attack. This is the usuals pushing for militarism.

Of course it in no way makes us safer, but instead is a MASSIVE funnelling of tax payer money from normal citizens to multinational arms manufacturers. This safety line is just a lie.
