Most credit card companies won’t let other brands use their nfc tech either. Can I use my credit card to make payments from a different bank account or do they lock out competition?

The E.U appears confused as Apple customers want that feature, they don't want to use competitors who are making this nonsense argument to bring attention to themselves, isn't it?
