Patrons flee Grand Central Market in downtown LA after gunfire injures 1 person

The victim was taken to a hospital, but information on their condition was not immediately known, Cervantes said.

“Our market tenants and guests are all safe,” according to an Instagram post by Grand Central Market. “The isolated incident between two people occurred outside of Grand Central Market on neighboring Hill Street,” the post said.Police had cordoned off the area in the late afternoon while their investigation continued.Information on a possible motive was not immediately known.
