The Faceoff: Why buying Shaw’s wireless business would make perfect sense for Quebecor

, Quebecor says that could give it another opportunity to expand outside of its home province.

“It would be good for Quebecor because they’re planning on building out a wireless network either way and this would give them a good head start,” said Matthew Dolgin, equity analyst at Morningstar. Shaw’s second quarter results announced April 13, said revenue decreased two per cent to $1.36 billion compared to $1.39 billion last year.
