McDonald’s said Monday that it will sell its business in Russia after more than 30 years in the country.”

The company cited the war in Ukraine and the unpredictable operating environment in Russia as its reasons for leaving, saying inthat its “continued ownership of the business in Russia is no longer tenable, nor is it consistent with McDonald’s values.”

The company said that it was a priority to "ensure the employees of McDonald’s Russia continue to be paid until the close of any transaction and that employees have future employment with any potential buyer." McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine are also closed although the company said it continues to pay full salaries for its employees there.

Stupid decision, Russian people are ruthless…

Russia is doomed !!

We used to admire the United States of America and Western countries and take them as a model, where they do not confuse hostility, economics, business, sports or other relations like third world countries, but this seems to have changed with Biden

Shame to have to do this no doubt majority of Russians have enjoyed the food for years and have not much control over what their leader has not done? Sad when a people per one EViI leader have no power to STOP him.
