The vendor of a Carlton North townhome was thrilled with its $1.615 million sale at auction.

Woodards Carlton partner and auctioneer Glenn Bartlett starts the auction at 11 Sutton Street, Carlton North.A vendor bid of $1.4 million then saw a flurry of action, with $10,000, $5000, $1500 and $1000 advances following. In a sign of the times, the man’s partner was listening in to the auction over the phone, as he was quarantining at home with COVID-19, Woodards Carlton partner and auctioneer Glenn Bartlett said.
