Rent caps plus punitive taxation on rental, income and investment properties along with punitive taxation on empty homes. Landlords are the cockroaches of the rentier class, and the rentier class are complete parasites.

The 'elites' are essentially psychopaths who don't care who dies as long as they are comfortable. Destroy their comfort, crush their resistance and make them beg for mercy, or suffer. Mass mobilization, general strikes and direct action. Grow a spine, win a future.

We need spanish style renting laws, when you rent in spain, its pretty much your house as long as you pay the rent on time. In the UK I can get kicked out at the whim of the landlord tempted maybe by high selling prices.

How will that increase the supply of rental property?

George Osborne chose to make life harder for landlords including making mortgage interest non tax deductible. The market adjusts, and renters pay the price.

They want mass migration so they must be really happy with the consequences.

We desperately need rent controls, with maximum and target rents for all rented property.

I was ‘evicted’ from my previous property, so the landlord could rent it out as a holiday let. This practice reduces availability in the rental sector, pushing up prices.

It’s a social catastrophe unfolding. Huge numbers of people can’t afford to feed themselves or their children - or the electric or gas meters. They’ll stop paying rent & then get evicted - so: homeless, cold, hungry & angry. Dickensian times ahead.

It affected so that we here in India can feel it.
