Sales at Moorabbin business Threadheads boomed last year when it released a shirt paying tribute to the Victorian premier's comment that people should "get on the beers".

"The 'get on the beers' was just one of those moments... It just lightened the mood and I think it's something people were looking for in that period of time," Threadheads co-founder Marcus Siegel said.The business made $13 million last year with its online orders that are printed digitally in just two minutes, and it has continued to thrive in 2022.

"Scott Morrison tackled a little kid a week or two weeks ago, and we had a design out the next day that went viral," co-founder Ace Reunis said.After selling more than 200,000 t-shirts to 40 countries, Threadheads is calling on investors to help it get a bigger workspace in Melbourne."We've just got so many customers now that love what we do," Reunis said.
