Delivering an address to Financial Services Ireland in Dublin, the mobile banking company's co-founder Vlad Yatsenko said that Revolut has almost two million customers in Ireland and currently employs 140 people here

The co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of banking app Revolut, Vlad Yatsenko, has said that Ireland is a hugely important market and a tremendous source of talent for the company.

He said the company is continuing to invest in new services for both retail customers and businesses."I think it's so important that we work with regulators to collectively solve the challenges of this financial new world.In his address, Mr Yatsenko also made reference to the war in his home country of Ukraine.

Last year, Vlad Yatsenko donated €1.1 million to The Late Late Toy Show Appeal following technical difficulties with the Revolut app.
