Feel lonely and isolated working from home? The solution is right around the corner.

Melanie Huggins, president of the Public Library Association, says it might be more difficult for smaller libraries in lower-income areas to serve business users. The biggest limitation is the demand on space, she said, and accommodating additional patrons may place additional burdens on staff. But more flexibility about food and drink could help libraries attract and serve remote workers — working from a library desk is a lot more comfortable with a cup of coffee there.
