The announcement came at a press conference in Jansen, Saskatchewan — east of Saskatoon — where Champagne was joined by BHP’s chief executive Mike Henry, who flew in from Australia.

“Not only is it going to be the largest potash mine in the world, but it is going to be the greenest,” Champagne said at the press conference.

Who’s the next lucky winner, Cameco or Orano?

Charge your citizens CARBON TAX and then handout 100 million to a company to cut emissions!!!! YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP!!! Who can stop them?

We're the largest potash producing country on the planet, and still somehow need to subsidize massive corporations to do it?

Giving money to mining giants.

Is potash a combination of pot & hash?

Putin the free, in Free Enterprise since 1867.
