Chief Executive Elon Musk and the way the company applies internal rules, according to an email to staff from SpaceX’s president and people familiar with it. Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX’s president, said the company conducted an investigation and decided to terminate a number of employees who participated in the effort, according to the email, a copy of which was viewed by The Wall Street Journal. Seriously? That's quite a spin you put on it.

My business my rules don’t like it get out

Another child-like behavior from Elon who doesnt seem to have confidence in himself enough to take criticism and work with it.

Sadly if Musk wants you to hand scrub a floor, you will have to, or get fired. It is what you call an AtWill state. Many states aren't. Long term and career minded corporations usually are not in one. Many flock to places for a job and not take into account the consequences.

What a surprise - not!

Way to go Elon. If someone criticizes you just fire them. Talent, work ethic, company loyalty, nothing else matters. You have internalized Donald Trump. The world expected more from you.

It's called reality Purge dissenters and naysayers if you want something done

He has that right. It’s his company and his oligarchy

Elon Musk claims all social media platforms MUST allow all comments no matter how vile, but fires employees who disagree with him!

I'm not doing this because of what I'm going to get in return because that's what you all think but I'm doing it to let y'all know that he's 100% safe to trade your bitcoin with AustinLeonardFX and also help boost your trade

While we're discussing 'Mr Freespeech', we need to raise taxes so we can afford the tasks necessary to providing our children and their children a realistic opportunity for a healthy and sustainable future.

the 'free speech' 🤡 feelings got hurt. weak elonmusk

The free speech champion strikes again

This is a simplification and a click bait. Your title implies it was the criticism in it self that got them fired, which is false. It was the way they went about gathering support and the way the publicised it that was the problem. They didn’t try to solve this internally first.

As a general rule, you don't openly criticize the man who employs you.

Keep up the good work SpaceX! 👍

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Reminds me of Julius Caesar.

Narcissists can’t take criticism, were they fired by tweet?

Correct decision

The letter they wrote was absurd
