Now they will just charge for paper bags.

Hypocrites. How many billions of useless face nappies were used?

Remember when when we all used paper bags? They got rid of them and brought in the plastic bags which were supposed to be better, now back to paper. They don’t have a clue what they’re talking about.

Loblaws will pat themselves on the back, but will do nothing about the tons of plastic used to ship food to stores. Incredibly wasteful.

Can these bags not be reused? I reuse plastic all the time.

10 cents for a bag isn't worth it! Better to bring your own

Walmart has already done this… why wait till 2023?!

Go Woke, Go Broke. They will lose business as shoppers fumble their purchases all over the parking lot.

They're no good for kitchen garbage anyway because they always have holes in them.

Big of them, since they’re being legislated of of existence anyway. BTW, I’d like to know what Loblaws means by “eliminate”.

Why not now

You don't need plastic bags to carry your groceries if you can't afford to buy groceries in the first place
