PUTRAJAYA: The MyezyCover vehicle insurance programme will be expanded to cover government-linked companies (GLCs) and the private sector soon, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Prime Minister's announcement comes following the official launching of the insurance programme to benefit some 1.6 million civil servants.

"I am glad to announce that the programme will be expanded to also cover government contract employees. The Syariah-compliant programme was implemented through RM100mil funding by the Social Security Organisation in partnership with MyAngkasa Amanah Bhd and A Tech Insure Sdn Bhd .
