Just when you thought tomatoes couldn't get any smaller, along comes the kid-friendly tomberry. Similar in size to a blueberry, it's the tiniest tomato in the world and has recently been released in Australia.

Just when you thought tomatoes could not get any smaller, along comes the kid-friendly tomberry.

"I'm always up for a challenge and this is definitely one of the bigger challenges," said P'Petual's head grower Andrew Potter, who has been in the tomato game for almost three decades. Head grower Andrew Potter knows first-hand how tricky tomberries are, from getting the flowers and fruit to set quickly and evenly at the start to staying on top of the plant as it matures.

It is now working with the Queensland University of Technology to eliminate that by introducing a robotic platform under the pollinator that finds its own way around the greenhouse.

🤣 I won't pay $24 per kilo for small/tiny tomatoes. I just buy the cheapest loose tomatoes and cut them up. I don't care how cute they bloody are.
