There has been noticeable increase in demands for serviced apartments in Nigeria, what’s responsible for that? I believe that real estate agents are necessary, but while they are important, using them suggests that you have to rely on them as a middleman between the seller and you . This can lead to a feeling of distrust and then, you find yourself not believing the real estate agents. Some charge as high as 100 per cent in certain situations, because you are not dealing with the homeowner personally.

Based on your experience in the industry, what would you say are the major challenges with housing in Nigeria and how can these be tackled?
