Mickleham movie mansion sells after 437-day marathon

The home’s jaw-dropping features included a man-made lake, American-style barn, twin staircases, a library, gym and indoor heated pool located next to a wood-fired pizza oven. The home’s original owner imported materials including marble from Italy to build it about 17 years ago.The grounds contain guest accommodation boasting three bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and laundry.One of the living rooms.

The abode has become Mickleham’s second-most expensive property, with the suburb’s $3.7m residential price record set by a five-bedroom house at 70 Arcadia Ave in February.
