No fewer than 200 fish farmers at Ikangba/Agoro, via Ijebu-Ode in Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State, have reportedly lost over N500 million investment after a flood hit their clusters of fish ponds.

He also advised the Yemule river is also dredged so that it could be wide and deep enough to accommodate the volume of water channeled into it from the Molipa/Imowo expressway, Ijebu-Ode.

According to him, the residents of the area are usually subjected to untold hardship, especially during the rainy season. “We ventured into the business of fish farming because we don’t want to be the idle hands that the devil can use, we have also been contributing to the provision of the proteinous intake of the populace, we have been contributing our quota to the economic development of our country but all these are gone now.
