The school district in San Mateo County is among just a handful of places in the country with educator housing. But with a national teacher shortage and rapidly rising rents, the working class district could serve as a harbinger as schools across the U.S. seek to attract and retain educators.

You would think that being so smart they would check out the salaries for teachers before putting themselves in lifelong debt 🤔
Almost 63 Grand a year, summer's off and they're crying poor. Sounds like they need to live on a budget and be more realistic like a lot of us who don't get a taxpayer funded paycheck.
