Defence Minister Richard Marles says the recently released defence review is “about having a look at the processes” which go into acquiring assets for military use.

“It’s really trying to ask the biggest questions, the foundational questions about what is the defence force for and what does it seek to do for our nation given the strategic circumstances that we face,” he told Sky News Australia.

Mr Marles said this review could be compared to the Dibb Review, which has “underpinned strategic thought in this country for the past 35 years”.Read More
