Profile: Business reporter Taijuan Nichole Moorman

What is the biggest challenge I face?

Honestly, there is so much happening all the time, especially on this beat, that it can be hard to keep up. Thankfully the local restaurant scene is well taken care of in our newsroom, which helps.I like to travel, cook/bake, watch true crime docs, shop, try new restaurants and spend time with friends and family.and Jazz & Rib Fest this summer. Why journalism matters

At its best, journalism brings communities together. I love when people say to me,"I never thought about this before" or"I didn't know this was happening!" after reading one of my articles. Journalism can inspire change, and expose people to perspectives they've never considered before or kinds of people they wouldn't have met otherwise. We can't do the work of serving Columbus and bringing you the information you need to know without your support.
