Opinion: While labour issues in the gig economy mostly focus on increasing protections for app-based workers like Uber and Lyft drivers, governments should pay attention to an equally important group of gig workers under attack — Canada’s performers.

The time is now to stand in solidarity with Canada’s performers and put pressure on Canada’s advertising agencies to end this dispute.
