Why would you give a speech in French to investors from the UK? She did the right thing, the wrong thing was to apologize and then say she meant to do it in French. She lost credibility doing that, should have explained to the whiners that common sense has to prevail sometimes.
No apology was necessary. She was speaking to a group of British investors. I guess that the ignorant people who criticized her do not want any investments in Montreal. Such a shame. We live in a great city and a great country
