The Irish Data Protection Commission says it is engaging with Twitter following claims from a whistleblower that the company misled regulators about its defences against hackers and spam accounts.

In an 84-page complaint, Mr Zatko, a famed hacker more widely known as"Mudge," alleged Twitter falsely claimed it had a solid security plan, according to documents relayed by congressional investigators.

The complaint, which was first published by the Washington Post and CNN, was also sent to congressional committees. "Take a tech platform that collects massive amounts of user data, combine it with what appears to be an incredibly weak security infrastructure, and infuse it with foreign state actors with an agenda, and you've got a recipe for disaster," he said.A spokesperson for the Senate Intelligence Committee said it had received the complaint and was in the process of setting up a meeting to discuss the allegation.

Mr Zatko, whose colorful career began in the 1990s, has long been held in high esteem by American hackers - even as he and others began graduating from their rebellious youth into top boardroom positions.

Trying to get Independence and unfortunately still failing. Everything he believed and fought for has been sold out to globalism by a bunch of elite Davos quislings. How the fuck did we get from him to fffg? I still cant make sense of how the irish elites turned into the brits.
