IN a bid to elevate the Orange Economy post Covid-19, the Riuh Keluarga Malaysia nationwide tour was introduced as a two-pronged approach to help the arts and creative industry practitioners as well as those affected by the pandemic to generate income.

Spearheaded by Communications and Multimedia Malaysia Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa, it is also part of the Ministry’s initiatives to revitalise the country’s creative arts scene due to adverse impacts brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. The programme, which was initially only based in Klang Valley, returned this year and is spreading its wings throughout Malaysia under the “Kembara RIUH Keluarga Malaysia” initiative. “It has been exciting to be able to make this a reality in line with MyCV’s own mission to spur Malaysia’s creative industry through job creation, more attractions, and increasing the industry’s economic contribution to the Nation’s Gross Domestic Product . “It is the Government’s aim to elevate the status of Malaysia’s creative industry through public awareness and social impact which are also supported through this programme.
