If the hearing is not grated, Huawei CFO is indeed extradited to U.S, then U.S doesn't even need evidence to jail her forever. Exact same thing as Carlos Ghosn arrested in Japan to blow Renault deal.
So far the only evidence is some vague PPT hinting Huawei CFO provided 'vocally misleading information' to bank, with NO ACTUAL evidence. This is not enough for the accusation of FRAUD. U.S is using Huawei CFO as political hostage requesting extradition of a Chinese citizen.
'vocal misleading information' is completely different from 'fraud'. If there's only vague PPT evidence to make fraud accusations towards a Chinese citizen, the charge shall be dismissed.
This would be like Tim Cook being arrested at Beijing airport on his next visit to China. And in the middle of delicate trade/tariff negotiations. Assinine!
