THE Philippine National Police on Saturday announced the arrest of a 'vlogger' who allegedly used his food business as a front where his workers are runners for the illegal drugs trade in Laguna.PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. said Jerome Zapanta Layson, also known as 'Jhem Bayot' on Facebook and YouTube, was with alleged accomplices identified as Ginalyn Pintang Benisa and Crismark Bablboa Alimagno when he was arrested.

5 kilos of high-grade marijuana with estimated value of P3,750,000, an Iphone X, a digital weighing scale and a vacuum sealer, reports said.Police said Layson is from Caloocan who rents an apartment in San Pablo and uses his 'Pares' business as a cover.'He recruited workers for his business and later on used them as couriers and runners and they utilize a tricycle for their business which they also use for picking up and delivery of their contrabands,' the police said.
