A Pennsylvania restaurant is threatening to sue a customer who tipped a server $3,000 on a $13.25 meal but later disputed the charge with his credit card company.

Smith, who is from out of the area, explained he likes to surprise servers like Lambert with the big-hearted social media movement, the outlet reported. So imagine just how shocked the server was to learn that the customer later disputed the charge with his credit card company.Management reached out to Smith on Facebook to determine if the “aggravating” situation was a misunderstanding, but he stopped replying to their messages – so they decided to take him to court to address their $3,000 loss.
