SAN DIEGO – San Diego’s homeless crisis continues to grow and residents are calling out to city leaders to find a solution.
As a result, East Village business owners are forced to deal with the issue on their own, as the City of San Diego allows the homeless to takeover the street and participate in criminal activity.
Oh come on. This is what happens when we try to turn J street into La Jolla. That part of town used to be VERY messy. The rowdy drunk crowd, drugs, dirty streets, were all part of ‘East Village’ before they sold new business owners the rentals & renamed it. We’re a big city 🤷🏻♀️
Lets hope SanDiego doesnt turn unto a Liberal Hellscape
I'm fed up with calling them homeless. They are alcoholics, drug abusers, mentally ill, some too young to retire, some too old to work and maybe it is time to determine who needs and deserves help and then determine where best to put them?
The transients have to go! Downtown is beginning to look like a shit....
Great job Gloria!
Thank everyone who voted for liberal Todd, Nathan and Joe!
Nothing will change. The same Dems will be elected in November.
We're all fed up
Move 🤷
But you can’t really complain about that because then your called heartless and part of the problem not the solution. The County and City need to audit where our tax payer millions upon millions of dollars went. Certainly didn’t go to the homeless crisis.
A recent solution I heard for homelessness was “a job, mental hospital or jail.” 🤔
No accountability, no direction, no plan, NO LEADERSHIP. Just gross.
It was just a matter of time. 🙁 California is doomed.
Lived near there it was horrible
New York has experienced over decades that the “homeless problem” is really a “mental health” problem, which we don’t like to talk about. That and mayors like BilldeBlasio turning the homeless out of shelters during COVID19 onto the Upper West Side. A stupidity problem.
