When I enter Savi’s Workshop and hold a hefty metal-hilted lightsaber in my hand and hear that distinctive hum as its fibreglass blade lights up, it doesn’t matter that I have no practical use for this $US200 toy. Resistance is futile, and I hand over my credit card.
