Investors are increasingly concerned that a recession could be around the corner. One analyst says Americans should be cautious, but shouldn't panic.

The Dow\n \n closed 483 points, or 1.6%, lower in Friday trading, marking its lowest level since November 2020. The S&P 500\n \n and the Nasdaq\n \n Composite were down 1.7% and 1.8%, respectively. The Dow fell by more than 800 points at one point, falling more than 20% from its record close of 36,799.65 set on January 4, and entering bear territory. The S&P 500 remains in bear territory.

Investors don’t have many places to make money at the moment: In addition to sinking stocks, the bond market is also selling off, sending US Treasury yields soaring to 11-year highs in recent days. The 10-year yield fell back a bit Friday but remains near 3.7%, and the 2-year yield is above 4.1%. That’s a much better return than you can get with stocks these days, so high bond yields are adding pressure on the stock market.

Sit down clowns, my house is paid. Lol

From CIA-NN, a network of people who will be fine no matter what. operationmockingbird 🤡🤡🤡

Maybe if the government stopped letting corps bully us, we would be more okay. BUT until then, feel free to panic.

At OCI, we believe that the Fed is trying to create a recession. The FED is trying to stem a second-round inflationary effect. But with the adjustment of the supply chain, we are not sure this is necessary, and the FED may create an unnecessary recession as a result.

Democrats are waking up and walking away from the mess created by the Biden administration and the rest of this corrupt Democrat party Democrats are destroying the middle class

Panic

Wait, you and Biden have been telling us that the economy is great. And there's zero inflation to boot. No one is worried. Everything is great under Democrat rule.

It's already a recession after 2 quarters. We're working on 3 now. Economy is in the crapper.

The Biden era

Saying a recession is “around the corner” is like saying Christmas might possibly happen December 25. It’s a given - not a possibility.

It's here, it's been here for awhile.

Dude, we passed 'Recession' status two months ago. Just because the White House doesn't acknowledge it or changes its' definition, doesn't make it less true.

Just name it the Biden recession. The last big one was the Obama and Carter recessions. Liberals love recessions.

According to CNBC we’re already in a Housing Recession. We’re by the Real definition in a Recession and Biden is denying that inflation numbers went up last month. All the important measure (food, rent ect) were up and only Transportation, Hospitality, used cars were down.

Americans should be concerned these people havent realized we’ve been in a recession for weeks

When anyone with such an expansive reach of communication tells you not to panic, guess what you should do?

So when we hit THREE quarters of neg gdp, I wonder what the newest definition of a recession will be? FJB

Biden's economy.

BidenDestroysAmerica

We've always had inflation and a recession after every GOP POTUS, since Reagan. It's history and lib's will fix it.

So whether you say we are in one or not, it's going to get worse under this administration!?!? Great job....

Hell is coming. Be honest and warn your viewers

We're already in a recession.

There's a recession coming...and it will lead to one of the most ungodly depressions this country has ever seen. But it's coming. It'll be the fault of Democrats, who will blame the Republicans ... So many will perish.
