Workers in the automotive sector will receive an 8.5% salary increase for this year.

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa and the employer’s body the Automobile Manufacturers Employers Organisation , signed the deal following protracted wage negotiations.

NUMSA signs an above inflation agreement with the Auto sector of 8.5% ATB for year one & 7% increase for years 2 & 3. On top of that we secured a R10K ex gratia bonus to be paid to workers for signing 😃Details below👇🏾
