'Sunnyvale will continue to be the center for technology development across a range of areas critical to Trimble's success going forward,' said Trimble CEO Rob Painter.

The construction tech company Trimble Inc. has moved its headquarters from Sunnyvale to Colorado, but isn't ditching Silicon Valley completely.personally welcomed the company as it officially designated its office in the northern Denver suburb of Westminster as its new base of operations.

The company, which company provides GPS systems and other technologies for the construction and agricultural industries, was founded in California in the 1970s. It first opened a Colorado site in 2000 and the Westminster location is now the company's largest. The company, which has offices in Sunnyvale at 935 Stewart Drive, will continue to keep its Silicon Valley presence. Instead of being the company's headquarters, it will be its"Sunnyvale will continue to be the center for technology development across a range of areas critical to Trimble's success going forward.
