Gas prices fell the most week-over-week in San Francisco. But San Jose boasts of having the cheapest gas, on average, among Bay Area cities.

In the the Bay Area's three biggest cities, along with Salinas in the South Valley, San Francisco gas stations saw the biggest week-over-week decline while those in San Jose were delivering the cheapest gasoline, on average,Here's what gas prices look like as of Monday, ranked in order by the size of the per-gallon decline:: A 34.4-cent decline to reach $6.05 a gallon.: A 19.7-cent decline, giving Salinas the area's most expensive gasoline at $6.16 a gallon.
