A local community builder has officially acquired one of the most well-known ranches in Texas., Centurion American Development Group has closed on Southfork Ranch in Collin County after putting the property under contract months ago.

The property is one of the more trafficked tourist sites in the state, receiving visitors by the hundreds of thousands annually. Centurion American, which is based in Farmers Branch, plans to transform at least a portion of the acreage into custom homes, the“We are looking forward to working with the city of Parker to determine the future of this historic property,” said Centurion American CEO Mehrdad Moayedi in a prepared statement to theCenturion American is involved in a handful of other notable projects across North Texas.
