Workers' Union In Oyo Accuses State Transport Company, Pacesetter Of Neglecting Staff Welfare, Mismanaging FundsThe Oyo State chapter of the Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations Civil Service Technical and Recreational Service Employees , has accused the management of Pacesetter Transport Services of neglect of its staff welfare and mismanagement of the company’s funds.
The union also accused the Executive Chairman of the company, Dare Adeleke of practising what it described as “unilateral decision making and executive rascality by threatening genuine hard-working staffers who have been turned into slaves”. The union also demanded the “immediate payment of minimum wage/enhanced salary structure to the staff of PTS and also pension and gratuity to those who have retired”.
“Finally, the Union is calling on the State Government to take drastic moves to resolve all these grievances and curb the high level of corruption that has further shrunk the growth of the company while the union awaits a positive solution without further delay so as to avoid any disastrous industrial harmony in the state.”
