Still Fired Distilleries in Lequille picked up the Taste of Nova Scotia product of the year award for their one-of-a-kind Fundy Gin.

Best told the audience the brewery has experienced a 400 per cent growth since its inception. Pedro expressed his appreciation for the honour and noted FarmWorks had been helpful in the firm’s development.

“Our commitment to quality, customer experience and our community has always felt so aligned with the work that Taste of Nova Scotia does, and we have been proud members of Taste for many years,” Cowin said in the release.in Hubbards, received the award for service for his 60 years in the business. He is the third generation in his family to operate the Shore Club and his son is part of the current team.

Emily Haynes, executive director of Taste of Nova Scotia, noted the Harnish family business had put Hubbards on the map. “The Taste of Nova Scotia awards,” said Haynes “offer a unique opportunity to tell our stories.” She said the awards and the New Brooklyn Media videography at the ceremony detail “their passion, their vision, their creativity, their talent and their commitment to the Nova Scotia culinary industry.”
