Great Lakes Weddings co-founders Jessica Tett and Courtney Dukes sensed there was a gap in the local wedding market, and they’re hoping to assist couples with all their wedding day details

Jessica Tett and Courtney Dukes are ready to spice up the wedding scene in town with their new business ‘Great Lakes Weddings.’

Tett explains that wedding trends have evolved significantly in recent years, and many couples like to do their own planning. That’s where their coordinating services would come in handy. “We’ve had lots of family and friends who have looked more to coordinators than planners,” she says. “With COVID, a lot has changed with weddings. Smaller-sized weddings are trending more, and people aren’t wanting to spend as much since the costs can be astronomical, so the couple often plans their own wedding.”
