No matter how many hydration packs get invented, some cyclists still prefer the old-fashioned bottle cage.
That’s why French company Zefal has introduced yet another bottle cage. But this one aims to accommodate any bottle you can throw at it — by which we mean carefully place within its flexible arms., designed the Z Adventure Cage to work with “all types” of cylindrical containers. That includes run-of-the-mill water bottles to insulated water bottles, and even large-diameter rigid bottles — if your bike frame allows it.
Between the sturdy support structure and wide strap, “your bottle will be preserved, even on the most uneven terrain,” the company said.Zefal Z Adventure Cage: Design Detailsfrom Zefal aims for long-distance use, be it bikepacking or simply a long holiday on your favorite ride. With four fixing holes, the cage offers universal mounting on either a frame or fork. It’s compatible with bottles from Ø66 to 92 mm. Using the hook and loop strap, riders can cinch down for extra water bottle security.
