First Coast spots make the list for best Thanksgiving dining options

If the hassle of putting together a Thanksgiving feast seems too daunting this year, travel website TripsToDiscover.com has you covered.a list of the best places in the state for Thanksgiving diningThe Nassau County resort got the nod because of the Sunrise Cafe's buffet as well as the other resort restaurants open on Thanksgiving, including the Falcon's Nest, serving smoked turkey sandwiches, and Oceanside, offering southern saltwater turkey.

Two other spots on the First Coast made the list, including the Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine and The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, which offers a variety of holiday-themed activity. "If you’re there the day before Thanksgiving, don’t miss the official Christmas Tree Lighting with live music and a fireworks show," the site advises.

Both Nassau County and St. Augustine have continued to rack up accolades when it comes to hospitality: At the end of last year, Llama Restaurant — a Peruvian restaurant on Anastasia Island in St. Augustine — was rated as one of the 100 best restaurants in the country
