And at the time of writing, investors from Dubai look to be leading the race to become the new owners of Liverpool.reported on Tuesday evening that ‘investors in Dubai could be eyeing a purchase’ of the Premier League club.. It is noted that Dubai International ‘almost signed’ for a takeover of Liverpool for £311.5m back in 2007.

‘Other Middle Eastern and American investors have been pegged as potential buyers’ but the team from Dubai are in the running. Earlier this year, Chelsea got new owners as an American-based consortium led by Todd Boehly bought the club for around £4.25bn.When asked on Twitter
