It's not a recall, and it's not broken. It's just a slight programming bug that was already fixed via an over the air update. It was never a security problem.

Yesterday's news, identified as massive exaggeration because it was an 'over the air' update that required an 'over the air' fix. No injuries. 'Broken Power Steering?' Not very good journalism.
This was a Over the air update fix, I think all have already been fixed except for 1%. imagine if apple had to send out a recall every time they fixed a bug in a update. I feel like Engadget should be praising this technology instead of falsely reporting on it.
At least they stand behind their product and will get it fixed. Good to know 👍🏻
