The Medical Director, Flying Doctors Nigeria, Dr. Jibayo Oyedele, has urged oil and gas industry stakeholders to adopt and exploit innovations in the healthcare sector in ensuring their employees have access to quality healthcare.

Oyedele recommended more strategic partnerships to address the challenges. Meanwhile, a report by Flying Doctors Nigeria presented at the event also recommended the adoption of healthcare innovations for employees in the oil sector.

With a special focus on the African energy sector due to the continent`s demographic dividend and subsequent increase in energy consumption, the report also features 10 medical innovations to improve workers’ health and safety.
