his research into the proposed acquisition, which the Bureau is attempting to block. In terms of market share, Miller said Tuesday that his research on wireless gross adds — the total number of new subscribers added by a company — between January and April 2021 show Shaw Mobile gaining traction months after its July 2020 launch. “When Shaw Mobile launched initiatives like ‘Big Gig’ plans, it impacted Rogers’s business,” he told the tribunal that day, adding that other telcos introduced short-term price promotions following Shaw’s Big Gig promotions for iPhones.
This deal should be terminated. Consumers will lose! If this merger will go forward then we should bring in AT&T along with Verizon.
