Construction consultancy RGM Kramer Inc. is being acquired by project management and construction cost consultants Cumming Group. The deal was finalized Nov. 10 and announced on Thursday; terms were not disclosed. RGMK is an education specialist and has worked with over 60 Northern California public school districts in the planning, design, and construction of public schools, community colleges and public facilities projects. The Concord-based company has more than 75 employees and offices in San Jose, Redwood City and Santa Rosa.
RGMK was formed in 2019 as the result of a merger between Kramer Project Development Co. and RGM & Associates. It joins a growing list of companies under the Cumming Group umbrella, led by President and CEO Derek Hutchinson. The merger will see RGMK continue to operate under its current leadership; Rick Kramer is the president. It will retain the RGMK brand for the"near future," according to a Cumming spokesperson.
