Corder Drum Company made drums in Huntsville during the ‘80s and early ‘90s. They were played by musicians including: Weird alyankovic’s drummer Jon “Bermuda” Schwartz, Louis Armstrong band member and “world’s fastest drummer” Barrett Deems, and more.

"Weird Al" Yankovic drummer Bermuda Schwartz is shown playing a set of Corder Drums. His right leg was like five inches shorter than his left. This was the result of having bone tuberculosis in his hip when he was around 8-years-old.

Eventually, Corder saved up enough money from his route to buy a drumkit. He wanted to learn to play music. Later on, while attending the University of Alabama studying business finance, Corder worked his way through college by drumming in big band ensembles.
