Kenya Law Professor, Patrick Lumumba Writes Mark Zuckerberg Over Failure To Restore Hacked Facebook Page After Three DaysKenya’s former Director of Anti-Corruption Commission and law professor, Prof. Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba, has berated the owner of Meta , Mark Zuckerberg, over the company’s failure to recover his Facebook account three days after it was hacked.
The letter captioned “Re-hacking of Prof PLO Lumumba Facebook Page & Business Account” read, “I hereby formally write to inform you and my Nine Hundred and Forty Five Thousand followers that my official page was hacked between Friday 18 November and Sunday 20 November 2022 when the hacker logged and changed the access for the business account and replaced three of my social media administrators and proceeded to add fifteen other administrators from different parts of the world.
“This occurrence has been reported on Tuesday 22 November 2022. via Facebook and there has been no response thereafter. A call was set up via the South African Facebook system but the Facebook team never honoured the call at the scheduled time of 14.45pm . “Have the email address changed to my personal email address . Remove all other 15 administrators that have been added by the hacker on the Facebook page and the business account.
