City issues $76 million permit for Mayo Clinic facility foundation

A contractor received a $76.2 million permit to build the foundation of Mayo Clinic’s integrated oncology facility.

Mayo Clinic announced the new oncology tower and the addition of proton beam therapy in 2019. A press release said $211 million of Mayo's Clinic’s investment is for radiation equipment and the facility's support tower. About $22 million is marked for parking and walkways.
